Flora
Vire Koti Lehtisaari, Helsinki 2 Apr – 19 May 2013
Paintings, photographs and Vedic art. Artists: Maisa Kivi, Keanne van de Kreeke, Outi Heinonen, Jenni Tuisku, Tuila Vuorinen and Tuuli Vuorinen-Oras.
The Flora exhibition consisted of nature’s colours and shapes with a flowery theme. Flora refers to vegetation and the life, goodness and beauty of plants. In Roman mythology, Flora is a goddess of plants, flowers, and fertility.
The exhibition aimed to wake up the spring! The flower themed works of art stimulated thoughts and brought joy and refreshment to the elderly centre. There were also artist visits where people could discuss the presented artworks.
